Hiip Content AI

Terms of Service

Effective 17 September 2026

These Terms govern your use of Hiip Content AI (the Service), operated by Hiip (we, us). By creating an account or connecting a social media account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Hiip Content AI is a content workspace for short-form video. It helps you plan, draft, generate, edit and schedule video content, and — where you have connected an account and granted permission — publish that content to third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

Content in the Service may be generated with AI tools, uploaded by you, or a combination of both. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
  • Access to the Service may be limited to invited users.

3. Connected social media accounts

You may connect a TikTok, Instagram or Facebook account to the Service. When you do, you authorise us to act on your behalf on that platform strictly within the permissions you grant, for example to read your basic profile information and to create or publish posts.

  • You remain bound by each platform's own terms. Publishing through the Service does not exempt you from the TikTok Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and Branded Content Policy, or from the Meta Terms and Community Standards.
  • You confirm you own or are authorised to manage every account you connect, and that you hold the rights needed to publish the content you send to it.
  • You may disconnect an account at any time from within the Service, or revoke our access from the platform's own settings. Disconnecting stops future publishing; it does not remove posts already published.
  • Platforms impose their own publishing quotas, review processes and eligibility rules. We cannot guarantee that any given post will be accepted, distributed or remain available.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the material you upload to or create in the Service (Your Content). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service, including transmitting it to a connected platform at your instruction.

You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it, including rights in any music, footage, images, voices, trademarks or likenesses it contains.

5. AI-generated content and disclosure

Some content produced through the Service is generated or substantially modified by AI. Where a platform requires AI-generated content to be labelled — for example TikTok's AI-generated content flag — the Service sets that label based on how the specific piece of content was made. Content you shoot or upload yourself is not labelled as AI-generated.

You are responsible for reviewing content before it is published and for confirming that its disclosure, claims and labelling are accurate. AI output can be wrong, misleading or unsuitable, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or breach the rules of any connected platform;
  • publish content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • publish content that is deceptive, impersonates a person or organisation, or misrepresents the origin of the content;
  • post spam, run automated engagement schemes, or otherwise manipulate platform metrics;
  • publish content that is hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, violent or otherwise prohibited by the destination platform;
  • attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls or security measures of the Service or of any platform;
  • reverse engineer, resell or provide access to the Service to a third party without our written agreement.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Features that depend on third-party APIs may change or stop working when those APIs change. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

8. Fees

The Service may be provided free of charge, under a separate commercial agreement, or on a paid plan. Where fees apply, they are set out in that agreement or at the point of purchase. Third-party model, storage and platform costs incurred on your behalf may be passed through where agreed in writing.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and documentation, belongs to Hiip and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service, and nothing more.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if a connected platform requires it, or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal or security risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by nature should survive will survive, including clauses 4, 9, 11, 12 and 14.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content generated through the Service is accurate, original, compliant or suitable for publication, nor that any post will perform in any particular way.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hiip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, including loss of reach, followers or account standing on any platform. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or SGD 100.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Hiip against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, from your use of the Service, or from your breach of these Terms or of a platform's terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be notified in the Service or by email where we hold an address for you. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
